The Devon Towns Forum Enterprising Coastal Transport Conference held at Ladram Bay Holiday Park on the 28th September 2011 with the support of its partners Severn Link, the Dorset AONB and Jurassic Caost Partnership and the Somerset Towns Forum was very well attended.  A report of the conference is available by clicking this link.  Cllr. Bob Buxton Chairman of the Devon Towns Forum said, 'we are delighted with the response with 99 people attending of which 50 have expressed an interest in being part of a Coastal Transport Consortium we are well placed to help deliver some greatly needed projects that will help boost our economy'. The conference followed the Enterprising Coastal Communities Conference in March 2011 for those with a serious interest in developing coastal waterborne transport.'.  The event was also supported by Ladram Bay Holidays and many others including long term supporter of Devon's coastal communities Prof. Mark Horton of the BBC TV series 'Coast' and Sir Graham Watson MEP who provided a video presentation that can been seen by following this link  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=65utyFdHsa8   If you would like to know more about the Coastal Transport Consortium please contact the DTF by e-mailing info@devontownsforum.org.uk
